Exness, one step at a time

Every page here is a run-through: what to have ready before you start, what each screen should show, and what to do when a step will not go through. Work down the route in order, or jump straight to the step you are stuck on.

Ordered walkthroughs  ·  What to prepare first  ·  What the screen should show

This site walks through an Exness account in the order the screens appear: register, verify identity, choose the account type and base currency, install a platform, rehearse on a demo, size the first order, then request a withdrawal. Each page takes one of those steps, lists what to have ready before starting it, says what the screen should show once the step is through, and points to the step that follows.

How a walkthrough on this site is built

Jump to the step you are on

Straight to a run-through: registration and verification, signing in, requesting a withdrawal, a demo rehearsal, or the margin check that comes before an order.

Where to start if this is day one

Day one is two steps, not ten: register, then finish verification. Everything after that unlocks in sequence, and none of it needs to be rushed. A Standard or Standard Cent account opens with no minimum initial deposit, so the platform can be installed and a demo rehearsal run before a single rupee moves. Independent trader feedback is worth reading alongside a walkthrough: see Exness reviews on Trustpilot. CFDs carry a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage, so confirm the current terms in the Personal Area before depositing.

What to have ready before step one

Three things save the most time later: a photo of a government-issued ID that is in date and readable at the corners, a proof of address in the same name, and an email address you can open on the same device as the sign-up form. The email carries a six-digit code, and the phone number is verified too, so both need to be reachable while the form is open.

The one decision that cannot be undone from the same screen is the base currency of the account. It is chosen when the account is opened, and a payment sent in another currency is converted before it reaches the trading account. Deciding it before the form is open removes the most common reason people end up opening a second account in week one.

How to tell a step has actually gone through

Every walkthrough on this site names the screen state that means done, because a confirmation message is not the same as a completed step. Verification is done when the Personal Area stops asking for documents, not when the upload finishes. A swap-free setting is done when the symbol specification in the platform shows no swap, not when the request is accepted. A withdrawal is done when the request leaves the pending list, not when it is submitted.

Where a step can stall, the page says which earlier step to return to. That is usually one step back, not to the beginning: an order that will not send is a margin problem, not a registration problem.

The whole route, in order

  1. Register. Email, a password, country of residence and a phone number that can receive a code. Registration takes a few minutes.
  2. Verify identity (KYC). Upload a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address. Verification is usually approved within about 24 hours.
  3. Choose the account. Standard and Standard Cent open with no minimum initial deposit; Pro, Raw Spread and Zero are the professional tiers.
  4. Set the base currency. It is chosen when the account is opened, so decide before confirming rather than after.
  5. Install a platform. MetaTrader 5, MetaTrader 4, the browser terminal or the Exness Trade app - all four reach the same account.
  6. Rehearse on the demo. The practice account starts with $10,000 in virtual funds and needs no verification.
  7. Size the first order. Work the required margin and the pip value before the order window opens.
  8. Request a withdrawal. Most withdrawals are processed automatically, 24/7 - processing times may vary.

Processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method.

Steps 1 to 4 happen once per profile. Steps 5 to 8 repeat for as long as the account is used.

Questions that come up mid-way

Which step should I start with?
With no account yet, start at registration and verification, then set the base currency before the first funding. If the account already exists and one screen is stuck, open the page for that step: each one lists what the screen should show when the step has gone through.
What has to be ready before registration?
An email address and a phone number that can both receive a code, a government-issued photo ID, and a proof of address in the same name. Registration takes a few minutes; verification is usually approved within about 24 hours.
Can a step be repeated if something goes wrong?
Registration and verification are done once per profile. Choosing an account, funding, placing orders and requesting withdrawals all repeat, and each walkthrough says which earlier step to return to when a screen refuses to advance.
Is this Exness's own site?
No. This is an independent guide written for people working through the screens. Every button leads to Exness's own site, where the account is actually opened and managed.

I love this broker, but I hate when companies change UI for no reason, in the chart view you removed the orders tab on the top left of the chart and put a one click trading switch??!!!, please put it back the way it was, thank you
